Andrew was born and raised in a small country town in Southern NSW. He has always had a strong interest in livestock and started breeding White Suffolk sheep in 1995. Andrew studied Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga. After graduating Andrew worked in a mixed animal Veterinary Clinic at Tallangatta in Victoria’s North East, with particular focus on both beef and dairy.
Andrew’s desire to have a whole flock/herd focus has brought him to Livestock Logic. He enjoys being involved in on farm decisions working one on one with clients in Victoria and Southern NSW. Andrew also runs a number of group programs through the Best Wool Best Lamb (BWBL) and Lifetime Ewe Management (LTEM) Programs. The parasitology and nutrition services that Livestock Logic offer in combination with veterinary training allow Andrew to give relevant animal health and production advice to sheep and cattle producers in Southern Australia. Andrew still maintains a veterinary role routinely carrying out disease investigations of sheep and cattle as well as pregnancy testing/scanning of cattle.
