Lexie completed her Veterinary Science degree at Melbourne University and graduated in 2013. She spent her first year after graduation at a Dubbo Veterinary practice, specialising in equine.

After that she moved back to her hometown of Mansfield where she began working in a mixed practice. It was not long before Lexie found that she had a real passion for sheep and cattle vet work and developed a special interest in sheep production.

During her time at Mansfield she was doing cattle ultrasound scanning and is competent with foetal ageing. She also is a competent bull tester, both semen testing and serving ability testing. Lexie has a special interest in intestinal parasites of sheep and cattle and is looking forward to the opportunity of having more involvement with sheep producers that the western district offers.

Lexie moved to Hamilton to pursue her passion for sheep and cattle medicine as well as to expand her and her husband’s sheep enterprise. When not working at Livestock Logic, Lexie can be found in the sheep yards at home or on the lake skiing! She never goes anywhere without her sidekick Toby (dog)!
