Jodie grew up on a family farm at Balmoral.  After finishing her VCE Jodie went on to pursue her interest in agriculture.  After some study and travelling she came home to complete a Certificate in Woolclassing, working in local sheds before she was employed as a senior wool classer at Elders Lara.
